Receiving your Radiologic Technologist Training in North Carolina
Radiologic technologists perform important diagnostic tests and administer treatments that utilize radiation-based technologies. Training to become a radiology tech generally begins by enrolling in an accredited radiation technology education program. Length of program may vary, depending on the credential you wish to seek; however, most states and employers prefer job candidates to have completed at least two years of education and to have earned an associates degree. The courses that make up a certificate or degree in radiologic technology include foundational subjects like physiology, anatomy, and radiology.
